Everybody perceives reality differently and is more or less surprised by how other people perceive the same reality. Lack of awareness of this fact is very often the trigger for misunderstanding and conflict in many day-to-day situations.

The way we perceive the world through our five senses, how we filter and internally represent the information (map of the world) and the way we respond is of utmost importance if Command and Communicate shall work effortlessly and with convenience and ease. The good news is, we can consciously change how we perceive the world if being aware of the fundamental mechanisms of perception, i.e., enhancing our perception, and how to change it.

The critical access to perception is via Neurological Levels. Guidance towards systematical reflection on specific situations and relationships to the Neurological Levels like the environment we are working in, our behaviors in that environment, our capabilities, our values and beliefs, our identity, and understanding of our purpose in life do more than determining how we act and behave. Grappling with the Neurological Levels help to identify measures of positive and lasting change, and the benefit is like a game-changer and can affect our personality positively.

Imagine, what would it be like if you become aware of how the unconscious mind influences your perception? What kind of a difference does this make to you in considering alternative behaviors?
